Galboda fall

Galboda Ella is in Nuwaraeliya district.Galboda is a lonely rural village along the railway track of colombo to Badulla.It is located between Nawalapitiya and Watawala.As Galboda is an isolated village many travellers do not know about this hidden beauty.The waterfall is 30m high and width ranges from 3-6 m depending on the season.Since the rainfall is very high in the area the waterfall is ever young.

There are no accommodation facilities in Galboda.To reach the waterfall you have to travel on foot about 2km from the Galboda station.The only way to reach Galboda is by train.The trains heading colombo to badulla stops at Galboda station.
